Ninety-one Grade 10 students received certificates of completion during Maranatha Christian College’s 3rd Junior High School Completion Ceremony last April 4 at the Maranatha Baptist Church auditorium.
Excellence in Display
These “completers” are the third group of students to undergo four years of junior high school since the Department of Education’s K to 12 curriculum added two years of senior high school to secondary education. Before its implementation in SY 2015-16, students proceeded to college after only four years in high school.
Each with an average of 90-94%, Joefer Cuetara, Elton John Guay, Christian Lorenzo, Jether Maranon, Prinz Kristopher Yanson, Erica Ibrado, Mary Jane Montebon, Ayumi Nakamura and Joel Pactes finished junior high school with honors.
