Alumna Angel Dudero Arlante, a public school teacher, was one of many students who had been blessed with scholarships or grants that partially or fully subsidize four years of affordable quality education at MCCHS.
“I was a recipient of the Rosita Caña Colinco Memorial Scholarship and most of my batch mates in 2005 were Education Service Contracting (ESC) grantees,” she pointed out. “We would like to pay it forward through this Blessed to be a Blessing (B2BAB) project.”

It was also at MCCHS that she experienced life’s greatest blessing.
“Jesus Christ changed our lives through MCCHS,” she declared.
“We love our Lord Jesus Christ because He loved us first through MCCHS. This is why we cannot just let the opportunity slip, the opportunity of showing our gratefulness to Him through the B2BAB project,” she added.
“The school, with its loving and excellent teachers, taught us profitable things and introduced us to many unforgettable and meaningful experiences,” she explained. “They honed our God-given talents, and skills, and imparted good lessons, learnings, the right attitude, and influence which helped us survive college, even in living life now and definitely in the life beyond.”
Not only did she survive college, she even graduated with a special blessing—cum laude honors in secondary education (math) at STI-West Negros University.
“Seeing the classrooms and the field of our alma mater brings back joy, the best memories that we cannot contain our gratefulness to the Lord so we said yes to the privilege of helping students just like we were helped when we were students,” according to her. “It is our prayer that the recipients of the B2BAB scholarships will also experience Jesus’ love.”
“We help others who are like us before,” she concluded. “We know that we are investing in eternity through these scholars’ lives, which makes us more than blessed.”
When the blessed become a blessing, they are indeed more than blessed.

Have you been blessed? You can also be more than blessed by becoming a blessing through the B2BAB project.

You can participate individually or as a group, perhaps with relatives, former classmates, or friends, to share the sponsorship cost.
